Your destination
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Plain/Technical English Trainer (M/F/X). Teaching Plain/Technical English to enhance understanding of daily operational processes involves imparting necessary operational and/or technical English knowledge, enabling non-native employees in their work environment and/or on the work floor to comprehend basic work instructions. The ultimate goal is to elevate overall language proficiency in the workplace. Plain/Technical English covers the language and skills required for successful communication in all operational and/or technical specializations.
Your flight instructions
- You provide Technical English courses for non-native profiles, specifically technicians and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) employees, and/or Plain English courses for non-native profiles, particularly for operational airport personnel
- You help improve language competencies across technical, situational, and/or operation-specific skills necessary to enhance workplace safety
- You employ an intensive sector-focused approach
- You enhance general language skills needed for increased workplace safety
- You evaluate employees at scheduled intervals and report results to them and Aviato Academy
- You document structured findings on individual and collective competencies and areas for improvement
- You manage training administration, process findings, and report conclusions and improvement suggestions
- You make recommendations for using a varied mix of theoretical and practical exercises, supported by a structured and pedagogical approach
- You regularly evaluate Aviato Academy's training materials through reports and improvement proposals
- You pursue ongoing professional development to attain and maintain required qualifications as a language trainer
Profiel
Your passport
- You have a bachelor's degree, preferably with a technical background
- You have an excellent command of English and a good proficiency in Dutch and French
- You have experience in training/teaching personnel
- You have experience administering standardized tests
- You have knowledge of Human Factors to enhance performance optimization at work regarding safety, well-being, and efficiency
- You employ a structured, pedagogical approach
- You are flexible and mobile to provide training at various locations.

Working hours:
- min of 4h or max 20h a week
- classes of half days
- max 8h a day
