For our offices in Brussels, we are looking for a Mechatronics Systems Development Specialist

Mission

• You will join the Actuation Systems design (and development test) office, to support our various development activities of mechatronics systems (electronics, actuators, cabling, etc.).
• You will be in charge of developing, procuring, and/or realizing breadboards and their associated testing material (for instance, EMC test equipment, power supplies, etc.).
• You will also support the test team on their various activities: functional tests, environmental tests, etc.
• You will be the referent designer of flight cables, including their test methods.
• You will support the electronics team by e.g. developing routing competencies, and supporting the MRB activities.

Required expertise

• Deep knowledge of practical electronics: design and realization of PCB, use of power supplies and measurement devices, electronics troubleshooting and patching, etc.
• Good knowledge of aerospace equipment testing.
• Basic understanding of mechanisms.
• Basic programming skills in a language like C or similar.
• Knowledge of Matlab for data plotting is a plus.

The ideal profile has...

• Bachelor degree in applied electronics, or equivalent.
• 10 years experience in a similar position.
• very good knowledge of English, and mastering at least 1 local language (French or Dutch)
