Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. The company is a key player in the integrated CFM international MRO network. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/ …), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. More than a 100 airlines, lessors, private aircraft operators and MRO partners have entrusted their engines to our company. We employ over 200 highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic employees.

To strengthen our Training Team, we are looking for an Instructor:
As an Instructor you are responsible for training Technical Performers (Jet Engine Mechanics or Inspectors). You provide methodological and technical training to Technical Performers in the execution of inspection, disassembly and reassembly tasks related to the maintenance and repair of an aircraft engine in accordance with work instructions. You are responsible for operational technical excellence, including the application of best practices, and assesses the skills of Technical Performers as part of their training.

Profiel

Your profile:
*Hold a Bachelor diploma or equivalent through experience, with in-depth knowledge of good aviation practices and aircraft engine maintenance principles.
*Technical knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Overhaul & Repair) for turbojet engines and problem-solving methods and techniques.
*Good educational skills.
*Organize your work according to the practical training schedule and set priorities according to unexpected quality events.
*Contribute to maintaining the quality system in full compliance with legal requirements and ensuring that quality discrepancies are resolved in accordance with the company's quality system.
*Independently assess and validate the skills of trainees, adapting the training program if necessary.
*Contribute to increasing SAESB's production capacity through a structured training plan, therefor suggest areas for improvement in training.
*Knowledge of common software (MS Office)
*Good command of English, able to communicate in French and Dutch is a plus.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work & residence permit. Please note that we do not provide assistance with visa or permit applications.
