Flight dispatcher
Functieomschrijving
We are currently looking for a flight dispatcher for a well-known player in the private aviation industry. You will be responsible for flight planning, monitoring and coordination. This will ensure all flights operate smoothly and meet regulatory requirements.
Profiel
Qualifications:
- You reside in Belgium.
- You have relevant experience as a dispatcher. Experience as a flight dispatcher is a plus, but not a requirement.
- You have a fluent knowledge of English. You also speak fluent Dutch or French.
- You have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- You are able to work under pressure and remain calm under emergencies.
- Overtime is not a problem for you, which you can of course recover at quieter moments.
- You can work full-time in a changing schedule, which includes day work, evening work and weekend work
Key responsibilities:
- Develop flight plans according to EASA requirements, considering external factors such as weather conditions, airspace restrictions and passenger requirements.
- Coordinate with ground staff, pilots and other departments.
- Ensure all flights comply with both national and international aviation regulations.
- Monitor flights in real-time, making sure to make the necessary adjustments during the flight to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Serve as the main liaison with third-party providers, including permit providers, ground handling services, other airports, and catering companies
